Yes
BBC2 this evening at 7.00pm.

I wasn't sure where to post this so it isn't overlooked so I hope it's ok here. I posted in WCMUT a few days ago about Gordon Buchanan getting an MBE in the New Years Honours list for his wildlife documentaries and conservation work and also I mentioned this documentary tonight which is a repeat of the one I saw at that time. It's really worth watching for anyone who didn't get to see it first time round, infact I'll be watching it again. It's the rescue of 'pet' snow cats in Russia and re-introduction to the wild. Some pretty decent people out there in countries around the world.

Thanks for the reminder.........I have both episodes of the recorder awaiting watching :)

As for the MBE, I missed seeing that mentioned!

Thanks I'll take a look, watched a David Attenborough highlights show over christmas, my mind was boggled by a viper that is only found in Iran , its scales have evolved to be a perfect match for the rocks it lives in and the end of its tail has become 8 legs and an abdomen so it can flick it about to mimic a spider on the rocks so it can lure birds to their death
on the iPlayer 17m 30s in

Saw this when originally broadcast - brilliant, well worth watching. Pleased that he has been recognised, I missed that piece of news.

Also very good is "Earth's Tropical Islands" on BBC2 . The 2nd programme is on tonight at 9:00 pm.

Had to edit this. I originally thought I'd got today mixed up with tomorrow but I've just seen it advertised tomorrow as well..looks like a progress 'report' .

Darren..I'll watch your link later.

Howard. I'll watch the Earth's Tropical Islands tonight. Cheers.
