be careful

Anyone could end up in this situation today.

The best way to handle it is to answer the gaurds and the policemans questions politely and quietly.

However the policemen was quite wrong in saying that he had "the right" to delete pictures from a memory card.

I have just watched the video clip and it is interesting that the photographers explanation is factually different fo the reporters text - no surprise there then!!!

Sounds like the photog is a step dad (nothing wrong with that) as he explains that the boys father (talking in third party) had given the boy some money.

The photog had taken a picture of the gaurd after the incident - which probably provoked the complaint to the copper. Asking the gaurds name would have been the polite thing to do.

About time these people were being sued for wrongful accusations.

Since a digital camera is a type of computer the police officer would be commiting criminal offence under the computer misuse act. If he used force, then that would constitute aggravated criminal assault. The man would also have the right to use a reasonable degree of force to defend his property.

any moron in some minimal position of power is now allowed to make accusations which the police try to back up

it is all wrong.
