The sky isn't working for me,otherwise I like this shot....maybe needs to be lightened up a tad ?

It's marvellous for a day out and, if you get there early enough, not many people in your shots ;)
 
The sky is slightly oppresive, otherwise a fine shot.
 
too dark for my liking and as said the PP on the sky leaves it dark and noisey

Love the composition though

everything is fine here
rough and ready with a real feel..feal?...for the timeless
the mood is set by the dark days processing and i agree the sun beams are a bit noisy...but so is everything else...some burning of the sky could add to the heavy atmosphere

i worked in a ship breaking yard at 15, in scotland, 1958..and this is what i am reminded off in terms of feel and image
