Explored Rainham Marshes on Friday... not a birder myself. However, full of friendly advice giving toggers and watchers, enjoyed the walk and abundant wildlife. Will endeavour to go here, and to others, more often. Please note below is cropped.

Hope you don't mind but I thought it would stand cropping a little more, moving the bird off the central position

Agree, cheers, duly noted for future pics. There was a female hanging around to, though the shots of her aren't great.

Had it been sitting on top of all the grasses / rushes that would have been ideal. However, happy with what I got, hopefully the experience will help my next trip.
