Half way? maybe, in that case i did the lighting (20%) and retouching (30%)
there are plenty more just wanted a bit of feedback first, i will post others.

You'd never have guessed she is ninety!
Nope, I think it's a good shot of a very pretty girl. I know eye contact is all important in these situations but in this case I think it makes her look as though she has a squint. With that head position I'd have preferred her to be looking up to the right, but I suppose that's breaking some cardinal rule though. :shrug:
Either way, it's WAYYYYY better than I can produce.

In my defence -
there is No blurring done on the skin! this is uploaded as an 800 pixel image, the originall tiff has all texture/pores visible.
Maybe you are referring to the matte look? That is just a style I sometimes use where I feel appropriate.
