Well there was no other name for this photo was there? I don't own anything other than my trusty D3000 and a 18-55 kit lens that it came with. Doesn't stop me from trying to get as close as I can and while I can't get what you'd call macro shots, I still think this little fella came out quite well. He crash landed next to me in a beer garden, he was on his last legs so I knew he wasn't going anywhere.

A good attempt with the equipment you have. I like the fact that the line is going diagonally across the photo and that the bee isn't in the centre. I would have liked to see him with a bit more space around his wings though - the one on the left is touching the edge of the frame. And yes - you've found the perfect title for this shot! Look forward to seeing more.

Yeah point taken about the wing touching the edge, thanks. I thought the composition would improve with the diagonal line as it fills the frame better as well as making it look like the little fella has somewhere to go!
