Newly listed is a start :)

On the left of that page you should also see some other options, one of them is item location, you can select the distance from your post code

But it doesn't tell you on ebay where its sold from does it? And if they use a stock image it doesn't help. But I don't use ebay so I'll have a look into that and you're right they didn't take charger or box. They could buy those cheaply though I guess to make it look like the full package
do you really think that scrotes like that will be arsed ,,its probable the stuff has already been sold on in the boozer but you never know .do a 5 mile radius search on e/bay for all 7200 for sale and then send them a message asking for pictures of the bottom of the camera to see if its scuffed .(serial number)

Stuff does find its way onto Ebay/Gumtree etc. although some stuff now is exported or redistributed nationally. There's only so much you can sell in the pub. Many burglars now are not taking many electricals, mostly cash and decent jewellery.

It does tell you the location of the seller Chris, the town at least so that would give you something to go on.
Really tough buddy, hope you get some good luck and it gets returned to you.
As mentioned before, some home contents policies cover camera equipment up to a certain value, usually at least £1000 so if you have that, you may be able to claim something back.
Rotten luck though, low life scumbags!

It might not even be sold online. I popped to B&Q earlier in the week and on my way out, a white transit van was driving round. It stopped right next to me and the passenger asked if I was interested in a 40" flatscreen TV. I said no and moved on but it was probably stolen.

That happened to me at a motorway services in Birmingham last month, very persistent guy in a white transit actually blocked my car to ask me so I couldn't drive off! Well dodgy.

Hmm well I can't imagine members of the public wanting to buy a 1.4 teleconvertor or a 300mm f4! Pretty specialised stuff unless you're into photography! I've found a website where you can put one of your photos up and it checks the exif. If another photo is/has been uploaded with the same exif it tells you where. I've uploaded mine now I'll just keep my eye out. I'm sure whoever buys it/uses it will put a photo up at SOME point.

It could be it's not been moved on yet

We had our sav nav stolen from or car. 20 local cars were done that night. The following weekend the same pair did a local hotel room, sealing all the wedding presents that had been put there whilst the reception were on. Coppers scanned the CCTV, spotted a couple of well knowns, went around and their house was full of nicked items, including our sat nav. They hadn't had the chance to move it on, but had flogged some as they needed the money for drugs etc.

Loads of burglaries they don't even take camera stuff. You can already see the difficulty selling it. However of course, not all burglars are the same, they all have different outlets to convert goods to cash or drugs. In general they don't want it at their home so it gets moved on to at least the first buyer pretty quickly. Typically a 'fence' or a secondhand type shop/Gumtree type outlet. Unlikely the actual burglar will be selling it, usually the goods have already changed hands to sell.
