My minty mint retro Pentacon Prakticar MC 50mm f1.8 and adaptor arrived from the land of the bay today and I love it.

Auto focus is not missed due to AF confirm on the adapter and, after a bit of fiddling, I'm improving steadily.

My kids are sick of it though

A few from the 100s taken

Natural light, no flash.

So now put it away before someone sees it and wants to take it home with them!

The walkabout lens is going on today as I'm off to see some Daleks.

(Shh might sneak my new toy in the bag and play with it in public, but don't tell anyone ;) )

I know this isn't a critique section - but - the colour cast on that first one is a bit harsh. Were you under odd lighting or is it just one of these old lenses that does that? I have an old Pentax 30mm prime that does that - any photo taken with it looks like it was done in the 70s on really dodgy film.

Probably more to do with me being incredibly colour blind and PP to be honest.

it's quite an unflattering greenish cast

I have a Pentacon 50/1.8 - it gives some mad swirly bokeh sometimes:
