These 14 images are from a test session using a close-up lens on a 45-175 lens on a Panasonic G9 to see how it compared to the bridge camera I normally use with close-up lenses for this type of subject.

I captured 166 images in around 16 minutes, so around one every six seconds on average. I kept 33 of them , about 20%, which, for me at least, is quite high for subjects like these that were mostly moving around with only brief pauses. I find autofocus helps a lot in these circumstances.

That 2nd shot is really very nice Nick, so much detail in there but with your shots that`s not unusual.
All great though.
 
Detail and lighting superb throughout, I think I would go for #10 if I had to choose a favourite as I quite like its pose.
