Beginner alert!

So... first go with a 1 year old (in fact first go with anyone other than my own kids!). Never realised how much more difficult this age group is. What do you think? What could I have done differently? Unfortunately I had the lighting set up and tested so it was perfect but she came in and I had to quickly move it out of her way before she knocked it all down!

It looks a little soft to me- Plus too much dead space to the right of the subject

Lighting looks ok

I think he means did you purposely shoot at that composition or do it in post?

It could have been composed better IMO.

Oh yes, didn't purposely do that - she just moved too fast so I couldn't get any poses like I can out of my 6 year old! I have cropped a bit of the dead space out and does look better. Just need lots more practice I guess.
