Went to my first foreign GP over the weekend. Great experience!

I didn't actually take too many photos as I told myself not to watch a race through a lens as I normally do. Pretty disappointed with most of the pan shots to be honest, very little is sharp. I used simlar settings to last years DTM shots that were perfect. Poor panning technique? Quicker cars?

Hi, some really cool shots, I like the ones from the pit lane, I thought that there was far to many people! could really get that close or see many of the drivers. How did you get over there? and where about did you stay?

Hi,

I was there as well - didn't take the camera gear, but my Bronze pass didn't really afford me any great places to take pics.

Saying that, there were some gaps in the fencing, and despite getting there rather early, there were people already there, armed with monopods and large expensive lenses.

Some great pics you got there .... 3 & 5 are my fav.

The pitlane shots are from the walkabout on Thursday. We rushed straight to the McLaren area but could barely move. My Hamilton shots are all shot from above my head as the space where my arms were was taken up by other people.

I had bronze tickets as well and thought photo opportunities weren't bad. These are taken at Pouhon and at the end of kemmel straight before Les Combes.

We stayed in Waimes near Malmedy in a house we rented through Belsud.

Out of interest, how much does a bronze ticket for F1 cost these days?
