Yes
So looking at Bempton for Spring next year but accommodation will be B&B or Hotel so for those who have been to Bempton what would be the ideal amount of days? obviously the more you can stay the better but without a fancy motor home the choice becomes limited somewhat, am looking at a 3 night stay so first evening and last morning would give 8 possible visits. Russ.

I've done 3 night stays and found it fine, you are in the hands of the weather as Bempton can be badly affected by morning sea mist which can limit available options.

Currently on a haven 4 night break ,cost just over £150 . Got issued a brand new 3 bedroom caravan with all facilities. , central heating etc only about a mile from bempton . Cheaper than towing our own tourer here .
Got a boat trip booked for later today on the ocean explorer catamaran out of brid harbour that featured on springwatch .
PS there are four haven sites within easy reach of bempton cliffs
Can recommend this one Thornwick bay . Only a short walk to the flambough cliff tops and north landing

But did you get any Gannet images?:)
Should have given a bit earlier warning than that on the weather.

After 2 days on cliffs I had exhausted picture taking ! Went for a walk down to Flamborough Cliffs and onto Queens Rock so IMHO 2 days is enough plus extra day if you want a boat trip.
If you want a boat trip try first day, then if weather is bad you have another chance... Good Luck and Enjoy ... !

Just booked 4 days there from 24th May 2027 less than £200 for 4 people in a Silver Caravan, many thanks for the info in the first place. Russ.

You will enjoy it there’s even a wildfowl lake and bird hide on site , ..and the main puffin nest sites are about half a mile away . Far more than you get at bempton

I don't think I could do more than 4 nights. It's not a place that has much going on besides the birds and in Spring it will be super early starts and late finishes. I did 3 nights last June which was enough - arrived Thursday evening and left Sunday after the morning visit to the cliffs. I had 3 sunsets and 3 sunrises. I was knackered at the end with all the walking and picture taking but it was brilliant.

Just been down for an evening stroll , got some superb lesser white throat shots , . We also popped our heads into the onsite restaurant today and to be perfectly honest the prices were low compared to some places I.e a mixed grill for £21 .. and it’s a very well kept and tidy site in general
