Can't believe we're nearing the end of another year already. The rollercoaster ride starts again in January, with the first trip being back to India in a fortnight to photograph this beautiful big cat. I hope you all have a great Christmas and wish everyone a happy and prosperous New Year. See you in 2024.

I wondered is their recovery in numbers is doing well and it is. Thought you'd like to read this.


From the article: "In what comes as positive news for tiger reserves, conservationists across the world, the population of tigers has increased by 40 per cent since the last assessment in 2015. There are currently between 3,726 and 5,578 tigers in the wild worldwide, according to the latest figures by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)."
