Anyone got one of the said item?

Online stats say the C-269 only weighs 0.839 Kg! This is nearly half a K lighter then the carbon manfrotto 190.

so I was wondering

1. Is it very sturdy/solid?
2. Will it take any head?
3. If I get one will I never want another tripod again?

If it's the same Travel Angel I had.

1. It's not bad and will happily take a D3 and smaller zoom - the bottom leg sections are pencil thin though.
2. IIRC no, it's head is specific and not generally interchangeable.
3. It's a useful travel/general purpose tripod but it doesn't compare with my solid Feisol, which I am unlikely to ever want to replace. I doubt it would be your only tripod

Benro Travel Angels have a good rep. There are loads of them, in two basic sizes (1-series and 2-series), with four or five sections, in carbon fibre or alluminium, with or without head. Take your pick.

BTW the head comes off easily - standard 3/8in Whit fitting.

The larger fold-up travel style tripods make quite good all-rounders, but you're limited by how big a head you can put on them by the space between the legs when folded.

Some heads are made with a smaller base with this in mind.

I got the biggest carbon one about a year ago and have a Acratech head on it, the legs do not fold togeather as well as with the Benro head but I just couldnt get on with that all the controls are similar sizes its solid as a rock although I do not use the centre column, think mine will outlast me
