Berry ID needed please

Thanks in advance Bout the size of a fat blueberry, but when touched the blue colour comes off to reveal a green berry. Very odd.

They are sloe berries, used to make sloe gin, can be very bitter to taste

Not a clue, I just drink it!

Wash the berries and put them in an airtight container. Add about 10 times as much gin and put in a dark cupboard for about 6-9 months, shaking the container about once a month.

Strain through some muslin cloth and enjoy.
