Best £100 camera

Going to be buying my young niece a camera. I've a budget of £100. Ideally a bridge camera as that's what she likes the look of. Can anyone recommend one?
 
There isn't a bridge around that will compete with an old Canon 350D and even a kit lens.
 
I'm not sure that image quality will be the main concern. Obviously I want image quality to be very good for the price. But also ease of use and ideally a good screen.
 
I seem to be torn between the Sony H300 and the Nikon L330 at the moment. Both sell for about £100.
 
The thing about cheap (and even not so cheap) bridge cameras is that they can take an age to focus which could drive anyone crazy, not least a child.

Whatever you buy I'd look into the AF speed thing.

She's 11...

Regarding focusing it'll be much better than her current hello kitty camera she was bought about 3 years ago ha
