Yes
So, i'm looking for a spare EN EL15 battery for my D7000. I'm not interested in paying £60 for a Nikon one and i'm not interested in having a debate over warranty.

So, anyone got a battery they've used that's any good? :)

I use Duracell camera batteries in my canon dslr and they performe faultlessly.
They are not the cheapest 3rd party battery but at £14.99 still very good value. They where purchased from Amazon.

What's the difference between the EN EL15, 15a & 15e?
Also seen quite a difference in MaH, from 1400 - 2499mah.

Not sure to be honest. I don't imagine the difference in mAh would mean anything other than increased battery time.

Gents - do the ex pro and duracell show up remaining shots and the correct battery status on screen?

You've convinced me! I've gone for the ex pro - i'll update once I get a chance to try it out.

Energizer came highly recommended to me for nikon replacements. Unfortunately, both I've bought lasted just under two years whereas the nikon branded ones are still working well after 4 years. A cheap thing can be a dear thing in the long run.
