Best 40mm CPL?

There seems to be a lack of 40mm circular polarisers, can anyone recommend a good one as the brand I usually get doesn't seem to be bail able at that size.

I see B&W seem to do one, is it any good and is it made of brass like most of their other filters? I'm looking to use it mainly on water so one that doesn't corrode when it gets salty/wet would be useful...

It's not a common thread size - you might get more joy just using a step-up ring and a 46mm or 52mm filter. A lot of brands (e.g. The higher-spec range of Hoyas) seem to start only at 52mm.

That said, B&W filters come with a good reputation so if it's genuine it should be good quality.

I understand that, although I assume it should be becoming more popular as many CSC lenses have 40mm filters.

A step up ring is a no go as it'll be a pain with other filters and catch on things as I leave my CPL on most of the time.

Anyone with a m4/3 or CSC use a CPL?

I have an MFT camera! None of my lenses are 40mm filter thread though - mostly 46, 52 or 58.
I have a B&W 46mm CPL and for the larger threads I use Hoya Pro1.

I know a few do at least.

Ended up finding a load more and went for a Marino super DNG one. As good as you can get really so happy with that. Will have to see how it takes water.

Check the size! As I said elsewhere, I think the 1AW takes 40.5mm filters.

Try SRB Photographic. I've used them for all sorts of different sized filters and hoods.
As above, a step up ring would probably be the cheapest option.
