best-battery-charger.com

Domain registered in the US in Nov 2010 - site opens with $ but seems to recognise where you are from so next page(s) shown in £. Doesn't look like a scam site but you would have to factor in the fact that the batteries are 'generic' (at least for my D3 they would be) and presumably they would be sent from the US.
I haven't used them.

We are in the laptop battery business and these sites are our biggest bug bear.
These will be cheap batteries shipped in from china with poor quality cells.
There is no contact address, no telephone number, no returns details.

The goods may be cheap, but you tend to get what you pay for, may be hit with import duty and vat on delivery and will cost a fortune to return should there be a problem.

cheers all.
ive been looking at the en-el15 batteries for the D7000 and havent found any other knock-off cheap ones elsewhere so thought it might be a bargain.
having had the evening to think about it, i might just wait for a genuine one to come up second hand.

Hmm - they say •100% compatible with original Nikon EN-EL15 Li-Ion battery
But the picture shows a battery with Nikon written on it and also last I heard no-one had managed to replicate the circuit inside the battery that sends all the info back to the camera meaning there were no third party batteries as yet.
