Yes
Been doing alot of concert photography recently in the local area, Fortunately there are some big acts playing the venues im at.

I am at the stage where i want to get a new camera body for this and something that will also be generally good for location shoots.

Im part of the canon family, i have a 50mm 1.8, 18-50 2.8 and 70-200 2.8 but they are all running off my 1000d. :shake: But the noise when the iso i cranked up is just stupid on some instances.

Il probably be buying second hand or refurbished but just wanted to see what everyone would recommend.

Thanks.

Personally I would be looking for good high Iso performance, with the recent rise in Mpix in 1.6 crop bodies, which tends to ruin high Iso performance unless trickery by the manufacturer is used I would seriously look at 1.3 (1D series mk2 and/or 2N or 3) or FF (either 1Ds or 5D).
My 1D Mk2 seems to be ok at 800 Iso, my 50D less so.

I love the 5Dmkii a friend in the photography business has it and i was amazed with the quality it produces.

Shame the 18-50mm is compatible with full frame. I bought that as an alternative to the 24-70 as i couldnt get something in my price range! (recently got made redundant....but got work now)

Any other suggestions for kit with the body?
