Hi there
I'm trying to find an opinion on Video quality on a camera/camcorder combo.
Before you all start saying its rubbish
My current set up consists of a Sony cybershot DSC-W1 (been a great camera for the last 5 years) and a JVC GZ-MG20EK camcorder.
The movie quality on the JVC has never been that good and basically i've put up with it for the past 4 years.
I've now noticed that alot of the newer advanced compacts have HD 720 &1080 video modes on them as well as 10+ MP camera. Would this be better than the current MPEG-2 movies I get on the JVC. I know it sounds obvious that it should ,but would stretching the newer HD onto a 42 LCD screen make it blocky?
Some of the choices i've been looking at are
Sony Cyber-Shot DSCHX1
Sony DSCHX5VB (Which isn't out untill March but shoots HD 1080 @ 50Fps)
Canon Powershot SX200 IS
Gratefull for any replies or recomendations
Regards Gary
