If Money is not a problem what would be the best equipment to get for doing Landscape Photography.
What camera, Lenes, filters and tripod/heads would you purchase and explain why?
I think I'd look at the Panasonic 645D, Leica S2 and Phase (as they send me endless emails and articles which is very nice of them.)
I'm sure that there are more expensive options if money was no object but the first two are small and DSLR like and I like that.
as good landscape photography is mainly a combination of:
- Good location
- The Correct Lighting
- The Photographer being there
I'd say the essential equipment would be your existing kit, a good pair of boots, a good strong 1 man tent and sleeping kit (for those sunrise shots from the top of mountains) A reasonably large camper van that you can live in for a week at a time, to wait for the weather to be right, and a couple of years off from the day job!
