Best method of sensor cleaning

I've had my 40D for over two years now, and inevitably, the sensor now has a good collection of dust spots. In normal shooting these don't show up too much, but if I go much over f11 I get dust bunnies everywhere.

So, whats the best way of giving the sensor a good clean? I know many people use a rocket blower and nothing else, but I've also seen cleaning kits containing swabs, various solutions and things like that. Are they worth it, or should I just get a blower and save some cash?

Get a blower and see if that works. You can DIY a sensor clean but I paid for my last one for fear I would screw it up.

Have a look at lenspen sensorklear. A friend used this to clean the sensor on my camera.

I have been very careful when changing lenses but the other day when I checked I have more dust bunnies.

Hopefully at the weekend I will try and clean it with the lenspen for the first time by myself.
