Best small printer for portable use

Im looking for a printer to do some proof shots at a couple of dog shows im going to

Choices seem to be the Epson picturemate or canon selphy in the small size
or get an a4 photo printer

what do people recommend for sample prints, its so people can take an image away with them, and perhaps a contact sheet of smaller images to order later (trying to cater for those without internet)

I would love to be able to do larger than 6x4, 10 x 8 would be fantastic, but it comes down

any advice is welcomed

Can't advise you on which one to go for I'm afraid but I've bought quite a few printers before and would suggest you check out the cost of cartridges first as this is where they make their money from. Good luck :thumbs:
 
I've got a Canon IP100, like this one

but with it's own battery pack, iirc it was about £180 or so (probably about £200 now). It has one colour and one black cartridge that cost about £9 each for genuine Canon
 
i use a HP145 photo printer. great little printer but only prints 7x5 prints

managed to get an epson stylus photo rx520 from the car boot today, 7 pounds.... with a new set of genuine carts fitted and spare black

7 quid ... a bargain :)
