Best starter dslr?

I have around £300 to spend been looking at the nikon d3300 and it seems to come up before all other starter dslr for my price range.

I'm only a beginner this will be my first dslr so very excited to get learning.

Hi Jack and welcome to TP.

I'd recommend you have a play with a few of the different makes out there, just to make sure the Nikon fits you well, the buttons and menus are intuitive for you to use. A lot use Nikon or Canon, but there is also Sony and Pentax - as it is an investment and people tend not to change manufacturers make sure you're happy with it.
