For me it would be 50mm 1.2L on a crop, or the 85mm 1.2L on a full frame. If you are in an environment where you can control all the elements, then primes would be top of my list for stunning performance and getting you to interface with the composition.
The 24-70 f2.8 would be a very good option if you want a bit more flexibility and not get stuck with a zoom.
Personally I've never used shallow DoF in a studio so the fact that you've only got f2.8 rather than the f1.4 or f1.2 of a prime shouldn't be an issue and a 24-70mm is as sharp as a zoom lens gets so you'll get great images.
Speed of lens no so important if you are in a studio. I find the 24-70 gives me great flexability and means I don't need to get 'in the face' of the subject for a close up. I've also got space at the wide end for large groups although you do need to be careful of distortion!
I had a 85f1.2L but I found it a bit long at times and ended up using my 24-70,and at the end of the day if your stopping down to f8-f11 most lenses will do a very good job. So I would give your 24-105 a go.
