Hi, May seem like a strange question but I learnt my lesson awhile ago with my 600D and the neck strap, got caught up via neck strap as I was holding in my hand and moved, camera out the hand on the ground but works OK (make sign of cross and say thank you) however I now have a 6D and will have an L bracket attached so what recommendations for carrying during Land/Seascape outings?
Many Thanks
Russ

Spider holster? Or you can use a holster type bag?

I personally would use a black rapid with a 1" clamp attached so I could slide the L bracket in and out like on the tripod head, still a strap though...

You've had an experience showing a weakness of neck straps. They have plenty of others, especially when the camera is heavy and the lens long. But those problems don't apply to good cross body shoulder straps such as the Black Rapid and its many competitors.

I was looking at the Peak Design range Russell - look really good and I think the different hand grips sound just right for what you want (I was looking at this too)
