Best way to connect xt2 to smartflash 1

Hi Guys,

I have bought an XT2 and have an old set of smartflash 1's and I'm looking to connect them. Was thinking of a hot shot adapter but can't find one on amazon but I also have a set of YN622c triggers that I could use but I suppose I'd need to connect them somehow. Would I need a small lead and connect one to the flash and have the other in the hotshoe? What's the small leads called? I'm heading into calumet tomorrow but thought I'd ask here first.
 
Figured it out. The long sync cable from the lights is now connected to the yn622c and it's firing like a dream. It's scraping the s*** out of the XT2 hotshoe though. Oh well.
 
The X1r and a short sync cable, but with Smartflash2 you could use an XTR16
 
Sorry Phil what are these? Are they sync cables? I'll check them out. I thought that the yn622c's were a good fit for this but I'm having second thoughts. It's actually painful watching this hotshoe get scraped. Haha.
