What is the best way?

Should I post some shots on here?

Thanks :)

The best way by far is to take some side by side pics with another camera/lens of known quality. Everything identical, then compare the results.

Looking at images in isolation, especially on screen which is frankly very undemanding, it's very hard to draw any meaningful conclusions.

Why?
You bought it - it works... Take photos....have fun.

If you have concerns then follow Hoppy's advice.

If not (as Arkady says) enjoy your photography and seek feedback...

Take some pics with the set up, print them to a decent size (A3 should be big enough) and look at the prints from a normal viewing distance. If they look good enough to you, they probably are.

Cool :D I was going to print them on to the side of a building! Haha

I just wondered out of interest because people ask how good a copy a lens is etc, and how sharp a copy it is

Some people get too hung-up on technical specs when what they should be doing is going out and actually taking some photos...
Any modern lens and camera combintion is better than something from 10, 20 or 70 years ago...and they were fine back then as well...
