Best Wireless Trigger for D3

I use PW multimaxes and they work sweet as. If you get the newer ones with the ACC port, you can use the zone features to remote pre-release, so you don't need to have the camera always in pre-release mode which makes that batteries last way longer.

That's a flash trigger, it won't fire your camera. You need either one of these or one of these (click the pic)



or one of these



or a set of Pocket Wizards, either IIs or MultiMaxes
 
Be careful with the cheapies, I had one and it was very frustrating to use as the range was crap and it only worked when it felt like it, I ended up with some Pocketwizards which do the job fine.
 
Im gonna buy pocketwizards Plus 2s soon so that will be ideal.

Pocket Wizards will do it no question :thumbs:

But so will either of those Yongnuos that FITP does, at a fraction of the cost. Only real difference to a PW is a fractional delay which means you would have to knock your max x-sync down to 1/200sec or maybe 1/160sec depending on the flash duration.

Top one, RF-602, is a flash trigger that doubles as a camera trigger as shown with the accessory lead. The other one is just a camera trigger but with the extending aerial has more range I think.
