First one I like showing lots of movement. Second one too static and what's on the end of the lead reign? Also has a tree growing out of the pony's head!

The two first shots are way better!
The two close ups mainly have a WB issue.

how do i sort that out?

Somewhere in your editing software of choice will be an option labelled something like "Remove Colour Cast" or "Correct White Balance". This option will probably give you a little eye dropper to click on any white object (like the eyes on her hat) which will hopefully get the colours slightly closer to correct. The control might also be a slider - I reckon the shots need to be slightly warmer but have a play and adjust to YOUR taste - or the client's!

Much better : good focus, non-messy background, better light.

As for WB : it is vital to have each photo appear the same WB, not so vital to achieve 'perfect' WB.
Within this small WB tweak range your Jpegs are just as easy as RAWs to fix.
It helps to view all the photos as big thumbnails on the screen, with your WB tweaked examples as extras, then pick the set that looks right.

Something is still not right Donna:
compare the skin tones and colour of the face in both…
