We reduced a big old bush in the garden today. It was quite a big job and from time to time I had to wait for a few minutes while the chief decided where the next cuts would be. I took the opportunity to snap a few photos while I was waiting. These were captured with a small sensor Panasonic FZ330 bridge camera and Raynox 150 close-up lens with a Venus Optics KX800 twin flash. The raw files were batch processed in DXO PhotoLab, Silkypix and Lightroom, with image-specific adjustments in Lightroom. These are downsized by Flickr from the 1300 pixel high versions in this album at Flickr.

When reviewing the images immediately after capture I took too much notice of the histogram instead of trusting my eyes, and as a result I used a bit too much flash power and damaged some brighter areas.
