I shoot with a canon 40D and was just wondering what is the difference between these two battery packs?!

All I could really find is that the "N" edition has a weather proof seal , but is there any other differences?:|
 
Weatherproofing is the only difference I could find.
 
There's a hefty price difference...

even pre-loved ones!
 
There seems to be a hefty difference in price even on a used BG-E2.

Seen them advertised for anywhere between £50 and £100.
