BIG bargain lens!

I would think that the modern ISO speeds render that lens more or less redundant now - even for reconnaisance jobs. A 500 f4 is only 1 stop under it...but the D3s gives you 12,800 ISO as a standard working speed ( a bit more than 200 ISO!)

I expect they want to shift it quick...maybe a cancelled order? Police force purchase and they have had their budgets cut?:thinking:
