Beginner Binocular mount for my re-purposed tripod

Hi. I have a modified music stand, and I wish to mount my binoculars onto it. I have bought a tripod adapter for the binoculars, but I need to mount that onto my tripod. Basically I need to have a flat surface for my adapter to screw onto. I attach a picture of the tripod I got. Is there something I can buy to attach to the top of the tripod that I can mount the binocular adapter onto? The top cylinder of the tripod is 15mm diameter. Thanks. P. S. Of course, the mount could fit a camera as well.

OK, there probably is not a part to buy to affix to the top of the tripod. Best thing probably is to saw off the projecting piece, round off that top piece, and drill and tap that top piece then screw in a stud that I can screw a base plate to, and my binocular adapter.
