Hi al

The theme for this month is "Spread Your Wings" - make of that what you will! :D

Photos should comply with usual size regulations and taken between 8th and 31st August 2010. One entry only please although you may re-edit or replace your entry as often as you like right up to the closing date!

Good luck everyone!

GO GO GO! :D

ok... here it is:

Birds are my typical subjects (first visit to this part of the forums) so please take it easy :)

the exif should be on this..not saved for web

squawk!!

This is the only one i have with a bird opening its wings, i will have to try and capture some more soon.

Best regards Paul

Probably fails as only one wing is being spread!

White Crested Magpie-Jay, photo taken 12th August, Ocotal, Costa Rica.

At least it's feet are in focus.

hmm...spread your grass?

it certainly adds some other information than just a bird with wings outstretched

its got to be something different...to catch the imaginations

Only putting this on as it's the 1st time i have seen one hovering.Rubbish though, and miles away.

this is a bald eagle being harrased by a raven, as the eagle went too close to the ravens nest site

Make sure it's the 70-200 f2.8 combo, Mr.C (y) Approx £2.99 from Kwik-e-Mart  :p

does it come with a 2Kb low speed card made in the UK...suspect already

taken yesterday morning, didnt get chance to set up the camera before he flew off so this is the bet out of about 5 images :(

OK, I will try this one from today! :)

I hate you all.:D Usually my atempts at this are just black blurred blobs against a blown sky. A little practice this lunch time at work showed a little improvement but still miles to go. No fancy birds available sorry.

Hi I'm new here but thought I would share a photo taken at Cotswold Falconry Centre a fortnight ago.
