Couldn't find this chap in my book of birds this morning

He's probably something really simple like me

Thanks Martyn didn't expect him in the garden thought is was some sort of GM sparrow

It will not be long before he acquires his full breeding plumage, the head and chest patch will be jet black

Lovely capture much nicer than my quick snap through the double glazing!...

To add to Martyn's words the female of the species is a pretty little bird....now that I realise that she's been in my garden for quite some time now!!
