Bird Of Prey Portraits

Some shots taken yesterday at the Falconry display, Hatton Country World near Warwick. I like this display as you can get nice & close to the birds.

A lovely set there, the 2nd is let down for me as the crop is a little too tight, but they are all sharp and no distracting backgrounds etc

Number 4 for me. There is a hypnotic symmetry about it. Nice exposure and pin sharp.

Number 4 for me. There is a hypnotic symmetry about it.

Actually there's more than a bit of Photoshop symetry about it- something I occasionally do if I'm not happy with one side of a suitable original. Sometimes you can get away with it!

Looks like you used flash on these, esp evident on the last shot, with the purple eyes.

There's a display of flying every couple of hours. Anyone who shows genuine interest in the birds may get a closer look between shows or be able to handle them.
