Birds (100/400/1.4 teliconverter/5d)

Nothing spectacular, just trying the 100/400 with 1.4 converter on my 5d (converter modded with sticky tape to make it work) Its a bit slow and hunts a bit and i think its only suitable with good light. (Spot metering is good on the 5d)

Is it me or are the last 2 the same?

Shows that the combo is a good one. 'tho you might have to practice manual focussing.

Two and three are different - look at the feather shadow between the claws in number two... in number three it's gone.

Beautiful detail in the chest feathers.

Really nice colours in all of them, think manual focusing is the way to go with that combo though.
I actually really like the 1st - a pity his/her head wasn't turned a little more towards you but theres just something a little unusual about it that I like
2 & 3 seem a bit too similar for me but a nice shot nontheless.
