Birds at the park

Nice shots & well focused, (it's a lot easier to criticise than take a good shot!), but I think your PP needs some improvement.

1, Needs lightening up to see the birds better,
2, I would have cropped more to get rid of the steel bar/tube on the right hand side.
3, Is good, I like it.
4 & 6, The zebra finch is ok but the under exposed bit below it, and the pattern of the light/mesh spoils it.
5, Nice shot & good composition, but cropped too much would look better with more 'border' around it.
6, Subject and exposure are ok, but cropped too closely for me.
8, The B&W image works ok, the weird reflection is great, a pity the tail is cropped off
and the birds head is too 'light'.
 
Thanks for the comments! That's exactly why I put these up, to get this sort of advice :)

I agree with you on most of what you said too, unfortunately I think with some of what you said it wasn't completely possible to help the shots due to the problem being at time of shooting, like with number 8, where the head was much brighter before I darkened it, but liked the reflection so much I kept it in.

I'm gunna have another go editing these now taking into account what you said,
