Birds in Flight

Some well captured flight shots - perhaps a bit tight and central in terms of framing the action.
 
I agree. Once again poor composition spoils what could be very good shots.

Thanks Laurence, yes @ lens, it does have its moments trust me, but one of my fave lens!

Thank you very much Paul, appreciated :) on the larger versions there is a bit more room around/in front of the subjects which cannot be seen on here. :)
 
Love the heron shot, will hopefully get one myself this year.
 
IMO, the Grey Heron is the best of the set. The Gull is close, but the BG blurring is too much and not done particularly well. The Shovelers and Greylag you're too far behind them...a little late.

But focus, panning, exposures are great.
