Birds on the canal so far this year

Nice set Gil. The Cormorant reminds me of one I photographed last year. It's apparently unusual to see them on the ground like that but I see them doing that quite often here, usually with a full crop, which would suggest digesting a big meal.

Lovely to see a Bullfinch too, not seen often enough.

Yes, this individual seems very obliging. I've seen her on numerous visits to the canal resting alot. I wonder if she's very successful, or perhaps growing old. Dogs seem to get very close to her without much reaction.

Thanks for the compliments. I love where I live - there's always something new to see on the canal
