Birds/owl locations in and around manchester?

Hi all,

As my photography journey continuous I see myself swaying more and more to wildlife, these past few days I have been trying my hand at birding photography.

I would like to know of any locations in or around Manchester where I can get some shots of barn owls, kingfishers etc, somewhere I can get up close.
