I had an afternoon at 'Birdworld' in Surrey with Rickmezza and his wifey at the weekend. This is my favourite shot of the day. The shot is not cropped, and I have just tweaked levels slightly. Thoughts/suggestions on how to improve it greatly appreciated!

Now come on Rich - lets see your best shot of the day - don't be shy :p

That's an excellent shot, little or no improvement needed.
Could possibly stand a little sharpening for web use but nothing else!

Super shot Cheryl.. well done!

I dropped the gamma a little as I thought it a little wishy washy and to improve the saturation. Stretched the background to more of a 3:2 format, selected the background and gave it a black fill to give the pic more pizzaz. I thoughtthe black frame suited it better, but as always it's a matter of personal taste. Finally gave it a sharpen.

Just ideas for you... it's a really super shot and well chosen viewpoint. :)

:ty: CT (am loving these new smilies!)
It certainly looks much better with the black frame - now why didn't I think of that?? :bonk:

LOL. A big print off that one would be a knock-out. :woot:

Very nice, has lots of colour, and love the composition.

:)

Great shot 'Mini'.
Superb composition. Why did'nt I take one like that?
Twas a good day, most enjoyable, thanks.
As requested, here's one of mine from the day.:ty:
I'm not quite happy with the sharpness of the eye on this hornbill, but I'll have a go at sharpening it in CS2 sometime (unless anyone else wants to do it for me ;) )
