It's been a rainy few weekends and i've felt a bit of frustration in that i've not been able to get out and about with my camera as much as i'd have liked, but we had a bit of reprieve last weekend so i managed to get a few shots in.
A couple of sets here, first are a couple from my little boy's first birthday and coincidently his first attempts at standing up unaided.
The other set is a few photos from an engagement shoot i did for a friend. I've never done a wedding as a "pro" and doing a pre-wedding shoot with a couple who are a bit camera shy wasn't easy. i enjoyed the experience and learned a lot and towards the end of the session they really felt at ease and we got some great shots.
All my favourite shots all came from the later in the shoot where they felt more comfortable.
One thing i didn't think about, which did make life a bit harder for me is the guy in the shot is quite a bit taller than me (i'm 5"10) and so the classic over the shoulder shot was a bit hard to obtain (#8) as i was on tip toes to get it. might get a little fold up pair of steps to chuck in the back of the car for such occasions.
Any comments/crit/suggestions and inspirations as always greatly received.
All shot with the Sigma 85 1.4.
1) This really was the first time he stood up unaided!
