Bit of a dilemma.

I would like to upgrade from my current D5100 to something with a better quality body and weather proofing. I will be sticking to the DX format for the forseeable future so it's down to the D7000 or D300s.
I know the D7000 has the same sensor as the D5100 and is a fine all rounder but would the D300s with its better body still be a viable option IQ wise against the newer sensor.

I would go with the D7000 I had a D300 and although I have not got a D7000 my friend Maggie has both a D300 and the D7000 is much better at higher ISOs than the D300. She never uses the D300 now for that reason, the sensor is a lot better.
