Great set of images Dan, looks like a really great thing to try and the potential for other types of shot is very extensive.(y)

"Just one small nit-pick, the only thing that spoils shots #1, #3, #4, for me is the carp/leaves etc on the OSF tyre". Other than that Great Stuff.

George.

Yea that was a bit annoying, if we do something like this again will definitely look out for that :)

Great stuff, I never knew it was possible to do flames with a pixelstick.

Pixelstick looks way cool. The rainbow effect, horizontal white and wavy green are the ones for me.
The fire doesn't quite work for a reason I can't put my finger on. The Renault Clio you did back in January was much better - less fire and better reflections I think :)

Pixelstick is awesome. We know a few wedding photographer that are integrating it into their work. Must buy!

Ouch, they're a little pricey. What are the chances the missus will find out though ;)

I'll probably order from WEX unless somebody knows of a trustworthy source that's cheaper ?

Great fun images Dan & Bob, I've been after a pixelstick for months but couldn't justify the price tag, even on eBay they go for a premium.

I contacted the guys over at the pixelstick site and they gave me a code for $35.00 off "fbwedding"

So after much waiting and wanting I ordered this weekend whist the Black Friday deals where on, all in with a remote trigger which allows you to fire the stick whilst you mate or wife walks with the stick it came to £238.00 inc shipping.

didn't know there was a remote trigger :) good price

£270 from the pixelstick guys site. They had free delivery so it would be rude not too. Come to $400 posted to the uk.

Mine has taken 2 days to go from BitBanger Labs and leave the US and has now spent 4 days at Heathrow!

It's now cleared customs so shouldn't be long now.
@dancook & @RR76 where do you get your pixelstick images like RR76's hexes etc do you make your own, I know there's a few on the pixelstick site.

The 2 I have shown here I have made myself. The hex one, using custom brushes in photoshop.

I enjoy fiddling with that side of photoshop so might be interested in making some custom pixelstick images for others who may not be confident enough to do so.

Always nice to know.
