bits for sigma lenses

if i went for sigma 150-500mm f5-6.3 RF DG OS for my canon 450d is it worth getting uv filters and has any one had any experiance with the 1.4x EX DG APO and 2x EX DG APO teleconverters if i diceded to get one later

using UV filter is a personal preference. alot of us use it for lens protection reason ......

Also the TC you mention will make this lens very very slow ......

the 2x will make the aperture of the lens to f10-f12 or 13

and the 1.4x will make it f7-f9

depend what you planning to shoot really to say weather the TC is worth using or not.......
