Bittern Leighton Moss Reserve

Lower hide?

Two nice images if a tad over PP'd I like that first action shot :)

Thanks Anthony

Ade not sure what the hide is called as you enter turn right and its a long walk to it, it has some of your photos on the wall

Excellent shots Dave. I'm going to be stopping at the farmhouse at the end of the causeway over Easter so hopefully I will get to finally see the bittern and maybe the otter as well.

I should have a 300m f4 and teleconverter by then so hopefully I might get something decent. The detail on your shots is excellent I love the first one particularly.

Yeah, that is the lower hide Dave. Only seen the bittern there once, just as I was setting up it flew past, never to be seen again.

The locals tell me that the otter is a regular at that hide in the spring and summer, early morning by all accounts is best.
