bittern..purple sandpiper, glossy ibis...

All pf them are great shots...

I think #1 and #2 stand out for their sharpness and composition...they also seem to have better lighting too.

The lighting on #3 is a bit harsh, and it looks a little soft too...

#4 is nice, I might have been more zealous with the zoom and gotten a little closer (assuming it was possible!)

The last shot of the Ibis is fine. Was the Bittern taken at Forest Farm or Kenfig?
I just could not get away to shoot the Ibis, would have been good as it is a reareity in these parts.

It was in southerndown on a small stream...I have a few better shots, which will be used for a painting...thanks mark.

All 4 are fine imo but I really like the Bittern, one day I may see one of my own.

Good set Mark, the Bittern is very good as is the las Ibis shot (y) Were you led down for any of those Mark? Just wondering if the grass in the foreground of the last shot was acting as cover for you.

Nice Bittern image Mark.
Can I guess the locations? Kenfig, Ogmore-by-Sea and Southerndown:thinking:
